APPRENTICESHIP IT SPECIALIST (m/f/d), APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Starting on the 1st of August each year, we offer apprenticeships for IT specialists (m/f/d) in the field of application development. The three-year training program has a dual structure and takes place in our company and at vocational school. As a future IT specialist, you will learn to set up, maintain and further develop the computer and network infrastructure of our customers. In the IT department, you will work together with dedicated colleagues on future-­oriented solutions for the international automotive industry, on intelligent dispatching solutions for the ready-mixed concrete industry and on efficient control systems for aircraft refuelling.

Your Tasks

• During the in-house part of your training, you will become familiar with our various areas of work while acquiring comprehensive programming skills in various programming languages and systems.
• You will work alongside experienced software developers on exciting projects for customers all over the world.
• You will gain insights into the diversity of automotive electronics and software, into the logistical challenges of the building materials industry and into the operational processes of a modern airport.
• The in-house training is accompanied by attendance at the vocational school, where the theoretical basics are covered in greater depth.

Your Profile

• You have a high-school qualification (Abitur) or a technical college qualification (Fachhochschulreife).
• You are fascinated by everything to do with technology.
• You have a strong ability to think and work systematically.
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German.
• Your written and spoken English skills are good.
